La Selce Farmhouse in Bagnaria Arsa is truly a gem that's well worth exploring. Nestled in the picturesque Friuli Venezia Giulia region, it offers a beautiful blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the warmth of the hosts, who took the time to share their inspiring story about the farm's inception, making us feel at home instantly. The accommodations are lovely, equipped with air conditioning and spacious bedrooms that come with a kitchenette-ideal for those who enjoy a spot of home cooking. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast featuring fresh Italian pastries, local cheeses, and their own homemade salami, a true testament to the farm's commitment to local produce. As a wildlife conservationist, I appreciated the serene gardens and children's playground that invite guests to connect with nature. Plus, with plenty of pet-friendly amenities, it was wonderful to see the friendly border collie, Spritz, roaming the grounds, adding to the farmhouse's welcoming atmosphere. Having only stayed for one night, I left yearning for more time to fully appreciate all that La Selce Farmhouse has to offer.
